XO Collaboration.

Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Mother's Day weekend!

Today I'm sharing a collaboration I recently did with I was asked to do a Mid-Century Modern style board and choose from a variety of eclectic and stylish pieces.

I decided to design a Living Room with a Mid Century Modern/Bohemian Chic look.

I started by choosing a color that would be a design inspiration for the room. I absolutely love aqua so I chose this beautiful modern sofa that would start the design of my room.
Next I chose an accent pillow to bring in other colors to the design. I found this gorgeous Exotic pillow with pops of green and blue.
I then chose my art piece. I found this gorgeous piece that brought a calming and stylish look to the room.
I next chose a side table. I went for this sleek modern wood piece with metal accents. I loved the mixture of the two! Warm yet sophisticated.
After choosing my side table I wanted a bright pop in the room so I found this gorgeous green accent chair.
The next piece I needed in the space was  an accent rug. I found this beautiful bohemian rug. The browns and diamond pattern brought a dimensional feel into the room.
I was super excited how the room was coming together. I wanted one more furniture piece but needed it to be a glass piece. I searched and found this stunning coffee table.
After the larger furniture pieces were chosen it was time for accessories. I chose this fun lamp for the side table.
Next I found these fun green books! They gave the space a sophisticated feel.
Because I love the beach I finished the table off with a piece of coral.
Last touch to the room was this fun floor lamp! I loved the angular design of the lamp and how it finished the look of the space.
I was super happy with the finished design. It's eclectic and stylish yet has a good flow to the space which was what I was going for! Thank you to for this fun opportunity to be creative!

Have a wonderful day!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!

I hope everyone had a wonderful day! I celebrated the day with my hubby and family! We dyed Easter eggs, ate cupcakes and played with our super cute nephews! We also got some playtime in with our bunny Bumper! It was a fun day full of love and family!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patty's Day to my sweet followers! Hope you're having a wonderful day!
Thought I'd share a photo of my succulents in my backyard.
I edited the photo with my Waterlogue app. Love succulents! They are so lush and green!

Today got even better when my neighbors made my day extra special and brought me over some
Irish Soda Bread! Boy is it yummy!

I have to say I'm more than Lucky, I'm Blessed!

Have a great day!

Quote Love!

Love this quote! It's so true! When I set out to design my home I wanted a space that would make me feel at peace and happy! Well nothing makes me more happy then the beach and the color aqua so I knew that would be my inspiration when decorating! Edited with my Rhonna Designs app!

Happy Tuesday!

Kitchen Cabinet Makeover!

After we bought our home there were a few improvements I wanted to do starting with the kitchen.  The cabinets were a blonde wood so I wanted to make them white. Luckily I know a great painter! My Dad is a painting contractor and helped me bring my white kitchen dream come true!

We started by taking off all the cabinet doors. Then sanded each of them to make a smooth surface. My Dad then used an airless sprayer to apply the Kilz Primer. After the primer had dried we then sanded down the doors again and prepared for the final coat of paint. I chose the color Pure White by Sherwin Williams.  He then sprayed the doors and the outside area of the cabinets that were wood.

We then re-attached the cabinet doors to the cabinets and painted the kitchen in the Sherwin Williams Color Accessible Beige.  It's a nice light and bright color, that's easy on the eyes and goes with my Coastal decor.

The finished Product!

As you know I'm obsessed with the color aqua and added touches of it in my kitchen!
Hope you enjoyed my kitchen transformation!
Thanks for stopping by!

10 Years!

Happy 10 years Sweetie! I can't believe how fast the time has gone! Back story: Every Friday I would have lunch with my Sis In Law at Islands Restaurant. Davey (my hubby) would sometimes be our server. We would always chat when I would come in. He was super sweet and had that boy next door charm. Long story short he gave me his number and I invited him over for pizza night at my folks. What guy would meet my family on the first night!? Well he did! And we've been together ever since! So today marks the anniversary of our first date! Love you sweetie!
